Rafeyri starts operations at Húsavík
Last April Rafeyri begun operations at Húsavík. A former resident, Jónas Hreiðar Einarsson has been working at Rafeyri for the last few years but decided to move back home when his wife finished her studies at Akureyri recently. Jónas is an expirienced electrical engineer that has been a good addition to the group since he started working for Rafeyri.
Jónas liked working at Rafeyri and had intrest to continue working for us despite living at Húsavík. The conclusion was that he would continue working for Rafeyri at a new branch in Húsavík. Rafeyri has bought an industrial space that will be ready next fall and will house the workshop, untill then he will temporarlily work from a double garage at his home. Even though in the begining Jónas will be flying solo at Húsavík, he'll be able to get reinforcements from both Akureyri and Þóshöfn as nessesary.
