As already, employees of Rafeyri are all over. Now four bold men from Rafeyri are going to make the diffrence in northen Sweden. The project is a Iron Ore plant. The company "Nothland" is building a iron ore processing plant there that will process high consintraded iron from a nearby mine, process it and then move it over to Norway for shippment around the world. The plant is around 100KM north of the artic circle and is close to the border of Sweden and Finland.

On Friday 28. of september 2012 most of Rafeyri's employees wil travel together to Protugal for one week of well diserved rest and quality time with friends and family.

Last April Rafeyri begun operations at Húsavík. A former resident, Jónas Hreiðar Einarsson has been working at Rafeyri for the last few years but decided to move back home when his wife finished her studies at Akureyri recently.

Last February 25th was a article in the Morgunblaðið newspaper about there begin some arrhythmias problems in the heart of Akureyri, located opposite of town, in mountain Vaðlaheiði and the reason were heartache.
