20,000 boxes a day

Bra Kasser is a Norwegian company that specializes in producing boxes for salmon processing factories with fully automated production processes. The demand for security, capacity, and reliability is high. Through collaboration with Raven Ltd., Raftákn Ltd., and Rafeyri Ltd., Bra Kasser has sold a box system to Austevoll Salmon Packery AS in Norway, located approximately 30 km south of Bergen. These companies have worked closely together to create the all-in-one perfect solution and have had many successes in the past. The solution in question is called an "empty box system," which involves the reception, storage, and delivery of all boxes and lids. It is estimated that the factory will be able to deliver approximately 20,000 boxes per day. Rafeyri was responsible for designing and drawing all electrical systems, and we are currently installing and connecting all electrical equipment. Our aim with our design is to enable the delivery of boxes to a Marel machine within 3 seconds after an order is placed. The total length of the conveyor belt in the system is approximately 1.8 km, with 342 motors, 744 sensors, and 12 km of cable. The factory is scheduled to open in April of this year.
